It’s that time of the year. As summer nears, Little Sprouts Learning Center begins it’s enrollment for the 2012-13 school year. Little Sprouts is a ministry of First Southern Baptist Church for Preschool families. It is a two-day-a-week learning center that is intended to help your Preschoolers prepare for a school in a fun and vibrant setting. What is Little Sprouts?

Little Sprouts is a Tuesday/Thursday Preschool program at First Southern Baptist Church (I-240 & S. Sooner Road) for children ages birth through Pre-K. It is a learning center so it is very much dedicated to helping children meet their young milestones prior to entering full-time schooling. Through careful planning and a keen eye for fun learning, Little Sprouts will come alongside each family unit, and encourage children to improve hand eye coordination, gross motor skills, vocabulary, cognitive learning, as well as other developmental road markers that need nurturing. This is all done in a fun and inviting environment, with thoroughly planned teachers, and a rock solid curriculum.

What things does Little Sprouts offer?

Your child can attend one day a week (Tuesday or Thursday) or two days a week (Tuesday AND Thursday). Little Sprouts offers intentional recreation, art, music, and learning for all ages. In our older aged Preschool classes, children will have Spanish classes, monthly science projects, and computing classes that will encourage additional learning. All are included in the monthly pricing.

When does Little Sprouts meet?

The learning center is opening on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am until 2:30pm. We run with the Mid-Del school system, so when they take holidays, snow days, etc., Little Sprouts will do the same. The Little Sprouts school year begins in September, 2012. We do not offer summer classes. The calendar in each enrollment packet further expands upon these specific dates.

What is the cost?

There are really two options, both with different pricing.

One day a week (Tuesday OR Thursday) – $35 enrollment fee (one time; per child) + $75 monthly tuition
Two days a week (Tuesday AND Thursday) – $35 enrollment fee (one time; per child) + $140 monthly tuition

This is a FREE week-long program for kids from PreK* through 6th Grade.
*PreK kids must be 5 by September 1, 2012.
